Bulgaria has published Decree No. 61 of 25 February 2026, enacting the law ratifying the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Information under the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF MCAA) and the Addendum to the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (CRS) on 27 February 2026.

- Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework: The law ratifies a multilateral agreement for the automatic exchange of information regarding crypto-assets. This agreement was originally signed on 26 November 2024 in Asuncion.
- Financial Account Information: The legislation also ratifies a Supplement to the Multilateral Agreement for the automatic exchange of information concerning financial accounts, building upon a previous agreement signed by Bulgaria in Sofia on 29 October 2015.

- Legislative Approval: The 51st National Assembly passed the ratification law on 18 February 2026.
- Executive Action: President Iliyana Iotova issued Decree No. 61 on 25 February 2026 to publish the law, which was also signed by Minister of Justice Andrey Yankulov.
