KSeF 2.0 went live on 1 February 2026 without disruption, marking a major step in the digitalisation of Poland’s tax system, with over 50,000 invoices submitted and no penalties for errors during 2026.
Poland’s Ministry of Finance announced that it has launched the national e-invoice system (KSeF 2.0) on 1 February 2026.
Since launch, more than 50,000 invoices have already been submitted to the system.
Poland’s Minister of Finance and Economy said the National e-Invoice System has launched smoothly as planned, marking a key step in standardising digital documentation, improving security, and advancing the digitalisation of tax settlements.
The requirement to issue invoices through the system initially applies to businesses whose total sales, including tax, exceeded PLN 200 million in 2024. From 1 February 2026, all entities will receive invoices via the KSeF system.
There are no penalties in 2026 for incorrect use of KSeF, and early data indicate a smooth and stable rollout, with over 50,000 invoices submitted and around 320,000 users already logged in to the system.
Earlier, Poland’s government enacted legislation mandating the use of the national e-invoicing system (KSeF), effective from 1 February 2026 for large taxpayers and from 1 April 2026 for all other entities.
