IRAS has issued a step-by-step guide for GST F1 registration on the myTax Portal, covering compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements.
The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has released a comprehensive guide for businesses and individuals on completing the GST F1 registration form through the myTax Portal on 12 January 2026.
The guide provides step-by-step instructions modified to different taxpayer types, including sole proprietorships and local companies, and clarifies the distinction between compulsory and voluntary registration.
Applicants are guided through the four main sections of the digital registration process, which include the declaration, main form, confirmation, and acknowledgement, and are instructed on submitting supporting documents such as business licenses and financial records. The guide also explains compliance obligations, including the GST InvoiceNow requirement and mandatory e-learning modules.
Additionally, it provides detailed instructions on reporting taxable supplies, overseas vendor activities, and imported services. Frequently asked questions are included to assist users in navigating the technical aspects of the registration process.
