The Albanian government has approved a protocol to amend its 2010 income and capital tax treaty with Germany, aimed at preventing double taxation and tax evasion, subject to signature and ratification.
The Albanian Council of Ministers has approved a protocol to amend the 2010 income and capital tax treaty with Germany on 30 December 2025.
The agreement seeks to prevent double taxation and fiscal evasion between the two nations
The treaty’s first amendment, this protocol will only enter into force after it has been signed and ratified.
Earlier, the German Ministry of Finance released an updated overview of its tax treaties and agreements as of 1 January 2025.
