The updated guide will help businesses get ready for the mandatory national e-invoicing system, set to take effect in 2026.
Poland’s Ministry of Finance updated the KSeF portal and introduced a new version of the KSeF 2.0 Manual on 19 September 2025.
This updated guide aims to help businesses prepare for the upcoming mandatory national e-invoicing system, which will be implemented in 2026.
The manual guides users through KSeF adoption, covering system basics, implementation, core e-invoicing functionalities, and technical procedures. It also addresses advanced features, VAT rules, scam reporting, and public sector invoicing use cases.
Additionally, the Ministry is expanding resources on the KSeF website, including an informational brochure detailing the FA(3) logical structure.
Earlier, Poland’s government published legislation establishing a mandatory national e-invoicing system (KSeF) for large taxpayers, effective from 1 February 2026, and for others, effective from 1 April 2026, in the Journal of Laws on 1 September 2025.
Poland’s President signed a law on 27 August 2025 mandating the national electronic invoicing system (KSeF).
