Curacao’s Ministry of Finance has released its Tax Treaty Negotiation Plan 2025.

Curacao aims to begin new tax treaty negotiations with Brazil, Barbados, and Luxembourg while renegotiating treaties with Qatar and Jamaica to meet BEPS minimum standards. Negotiations with Mauritius were completed in February 2025, with the treaty set to be signed later this year.

For a long time, Curacao had three treaties: one with Norway and two special agreements with the European Netherlands and other parts of the Kingdom, as treaties cannot be made between the countries of the Kingdom.
