Armenia’s Cabinet has ratified the income tax treaty with Hong Kong on 12 December 2024.
Signed on 24 June 2024, the Armenia – Hong Kong income tax treaty is the first between the two jurisdictions. The agreement will take effect after the exchange of ratification instruments.
Once in force, the treaty will apply in Armenia starting 1 January of the following year and in Hong Kong from 1 April of the same year.
Earlier, Hong Kong’s Chief Executive in Council issued an Order to implement tax treaties with Armenia on 23 October 2024.
