Officials from Turkey and Lesotho met in Ankara to negotiate for a tax treaty between 26 t– 29 November 2024, according to the release,

The negotiations were conducted under Mehmet Arabaci, Deputy President of the Turkish Revenue Administration, representing Turkey, and Libako Leisanyane, Director of Economic Policy at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, representing Lesotho.

An agreement was reached on all tax-related matters, and the Agreement was initialled on 29 November 2024.

Once signed and enacted, the Agreement is expected to provide a stable tax environment for businesses in both countries.
