The Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has announced the launch of its “e-services” platform for the electronic filing of annual tax returns for the assessment year 2023/2024. Taxpayers must submit their returns electronically by 30 November 2024.
Taxpayers can access the necessary forms for the 2023/2024 assessment year on the Inland Revenue Forms webpage.
This deadline applies to various types of tax returns, including corporate income tax (CIT) returns for resident and non-resident companies, CIT returns for entities and public corporations, personal income tax (PIT) returns for partnerships, and individual income tax (IIT/IITS) returns for individuals.
