The Luxembourg government is planning to raise more revenue in the next few years by putting together a package that will include some tax rises. The Finance Minister has recently clarified however that the highest rate of income tax is not to be increased. This type of measure is also not to be found in the coalition agreement on the basis of which the government was put together. Any extra revenue would need to be raised from a number of measures.
