On 17 January 2024, the Cyprus Tax Department declared the extension of the deadline for the annual DAC7 reporting for 2023 for all reporting platform operators. The new reporting deadline for 2023 is 16 February 2024. The new regulations take effect on 1 January 2023, with reporting due by 31 January the following year. The Cyprus Tax Department noted that the DAC7 data submission after 16 February 2024 will be considered overdue, and administrative penalties according to the Administrative Cooperation in the Field of Taxation Law (Amended) of 2023 (N.105(I)/2023) may be imposed.
