Federal Register Eligibility for exporting meat products to the US:
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is suggesting to add Namibia to the countries list whose meat inspection system is equal to the system that the US has established under the Federal Meat Inspect Act (FMIA) and its applying regulations. Namibia would need to submit additional information for FSIS to review before FSIS would allow Namibia to export product from other types of livestock to the U.S. All products that Namibia exports to the U.S. will be subject to re-inspection at United States ports of entry by FSIS inspectors. Kiwi importation from Chile:
A final rule has given by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and it permits safe importation of kiwi from Chile using mitigation measures other than fumigation with methyl bromide. They are modifying some regulations of the fruits and vegetables to list kiwi from Chile as eligible for importation into the United States subject to a systems approach. This rule will be effective from 19 October 2015.		 Details
Importation of fresh peppers from Peru:
APHIS amends the fruits and vegetables regulations to allow the importation of fresh peppers into the continental United States and the Territories from Peru. This action allows for importing untreated fresh peppers from Peru while continuing to give protection against the introduction of plant pests into the continental US.		 Details
Importing citrus fruits from Peru:
APHIS gives a final rule regarding citrus fruit importation. They are amending the fruits and vegetable regulations to allow citrus fruit from Peru to be imported into the continental United States. On the basis of findings of a pest list and commodity import evaluation document, APHIS have determined that this systems approach also mitigates the plant pest risk associated with citrus fruit produced in Peru. Nonconforming vehicles decided to be eligible for importation:
This document revises the vehicles list that NHTSA has decided to be eligible for importation and are not originally manufactured to follow to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). This list is published in an appendix to the agency’s regulations that prescribe process for import eligibility decisions. NHTSA is required by statute to publish this list annually in the Federal Register. The revised list of import eligible vehicles is effective on September 16, 2015.		 Details
FDA Fees declared to assist Export Certificate Program:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s center for veterinary medicine declared fees for animal food and feed ingredients export certificates. Export certificate fees for animal drugs, biologics, devices, or animal food will be $175 for the first certificate, $155 for first duplicate original, and $70 for each subsequent copy. The fee will be effective October 1, 2015.		 Details
