The President of Finland signed a law on 24 April, 2015 regarding the proposal (HE 365/2014) amending the taxation of non-residents. The proposal was adopted 12 February 2015. The proposal entails that the taxation of non-resident individuals by assessment would be brought in line with the thresholds and rates of resident individuals with effect from 1 January 2016.
