It has been announced that, the Swiss Federal Council has issued plans to eliminate the Federal Committee (CFR) responsible for federal direct tax rebates. The Federal Council is establishing new provisions for federal direct tax rebates.
The CFR is responsible for ruling on implementation for federal direct tax rebates in surplus of CHF 25,000 (USD 34,489) a year, while demand for federal direct tax rebates of less than CHF 25,000 a year, together with those regarding to cantonal and communal tax, are dealt with by the cantons
