The income tax treaty between Cyprus and Jersey entered into force on 17 February 2017. The treaty was signed on 11 July 2016. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2018. The treaty generally follows the OECD Model.

Under the treaty, there are no withholding taxes on dividends, interest and royalties. Both states generally provide for the credit method to avoid double taxation. The treaty includes an article on offshore activities.
