Federal Register Importer of controlled substances application:
The registered bulk manufacturers of the affected basic class, and applicants may file written comments on or complaints to the issuance of the proposed registration in accordance with 21 CFR 1301.34(a) on or before March 23, 2017. Such persons may also submit a written request for a hearing on the application on or before March 23, 2017. See Details
Export license for radioactive waste:
Pursuant to title 10 of Federal Regulations Code, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received the request for an export license. A copy of the request is available electronically through the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). Large residential washers from China:
On the basis of the record developed in the subject investigation, the United States International Trade Commission determines that an industry in the U.S. is materially injured by reason of imports of large residential washers from China, provided for in subheading 8450.20.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, that have been found by the Department of Commerce to be sold in the United States at less than fair value (“LTFV”). CBP Unlimited open period for reimbursable services program applications:
U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced the open period for accepting letters of application through the Reimbursable Services Program (RSP) will remain open indefinitely. Applications may be submitted via email and will be evaluated during three evaluation windows. Applications received from February 1, 2017 to February 28, 2017 will be evaluated beginning March 2017. Subsequent evaluations will start in July for applications received between March 1 and June 30; November for applications received between July 1 and October 31; and March 2018 for applications received between November 1 and February 28, 2018. FAS Specialty sugar TRQ for fiscal year 2017 increases:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced an increase in the fiscal year 2017 specialty sugar tariff-rate quota (TRQ). This refined sugar is found in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S., Chapter 17, Additional U.S. Note 5(a)(ii). The sugar will be permitted entry into the United States starting from March 1, 2017. See Details
FSIS Eligibility to France for exporting raw beef to the U.S.:
This notice provides instructions to inspection program personnel (IPP) at official import inspection establishments on actions to take when verifying the accuracy of inspection certificates for imported raw beef products from France.  The certificates provide assurance that these products satisfy FSIS requirements. FTC Announce of primary agenda for March 21 Conference:
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the National Association of State Charities Officials (NASCO) have declared a preliminary agenda for the Give & Take: Consumers, Contributions, and Charity conference. Discussion topics covers current donor choices and challenges, empowering donors to avoid fraud through education, emerging and future challenges for donors and law enforcement, and safeguarding donors from fraud. ITC Digital trade and the impact of barriers:
The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) will conduct three investigations to examine uses of new digital technologies for U.S. firms and the impact of barriers to digital trade on the competitiveness of U.S. firms in international markets. The first investigation will describe the latest landscape and recent developments in digital technologies used by firms, as well as digital technologies used by consumers. The second investigation will analyze measures that affect the ability of U.S. firms to develop or supply digital products and services to firms abroad. The third investigation will analyze measures that affect the ability of U.S. firms to develop or supply digital products and services to consumers abroad. See Details
